Corporate Flooring Innovations Inc. started in 2013 under the name Corporate Floors USA, Inc. by Beverly and Craig Dorman. After eight successful years in business, in January 2021, Bev and Craig retired and Corporate Floors USA was purchased by Shawna Dorman.
 

Shawna came to Corporate Floors after being the majority owner of Dorman Flooring LLC, a commercial flooring installation company, for nearly ten years. When she purchased Corporate Floors USA she brought over all of her employees, equipment and other assets and dissolved Dorman Flooring. In June of 2021 she re-branded the organization to Corporate Flooring Innovations Inc. (CFI) to better reflect the innovative approach to projects she takes. Today the company has 15 full time employees, as well as teams of trusted sub-contractors that complete highly-skilled flooring projects throughout Western New York- from Buffalo to Syracuse and beyond.
 

Her firm specializes in commercial and industrial flooring applications. These projects include flooring demolition and surface preparation including moisture mitigation and leveling services. The firm also supplies soft, hard and resilient flooring surfaces including carpet tile, ceramic, vinyl and luxury vinyl tile as well as resinous epoxy floor coatings.
 

CFI has many areas of expertise when it comes to commercial flooring surfaces. The firm focuses in the corporate, healthcare, government and education sectors. Specifically, many of their most successful projects are in the K-12 education sector. The firm is often sought-after for their special attention to detail and care in highly sensitive and regulated areas.
 

Shawna oversees all company activities of CFI Inc. including bidding, job management, new contracts, purchasing, accounting, human resources, legal and marketing. Shawna is OSHA safety certified and holds a Bachelor's degree from Canisius College and a Masters of Science in Business Management from Keuka College. She has a passion for leadership as well as community development. Her firm actively participates in the community as well as supports local non-profits and organizations through thoughtful contributions and sponsorships.
